Armac Martin has been making brass hardware in Birmingham since 1929. Fourth generation, still family run, still finishing by hand in their own factory.
This is the most expensive hardware we sell. It is also the hardware we specify when a kitchen has been designed properly and everything else in it has been chosen with the same care.
Collections, not categories
Armac Martin builds named collections rather than product groups. Each one carries knobs, pulls, T bars, cup pulls, appliance pulls and edge pulls in the same language, which is how it works across a whole kitchen rather than as a feature on one cupboard.
Signature holds the classics. Cotswold, Bakes, Edgbaston, Queslett, Aberdovey, Longbridge, Bromsgrove. Deep coverage, quiet forms, and where most projects start.
Speciality carries more detail. Colmore, Kingsheath, Sparkbrook, Loop, Carlton, Belgrave.
Luxe is where the piece becomes the feature. Sketch, Barwick, Whimsical, Digbeth, Highbury, Victoria, and the solid bronze range.
Further than you would expect
Brass electrical sockets and switches. Decorative grilles for cabinetry, radiators and vents. Towel rails, toilet roll holders, hooks, shelf brackets, brass rails, mirrors.
On a high end residential job this is the reason to use them. One brass finish can run from the kitchen handles through the bathroom rails to the socket plates. Try assembling that from three suppliers and it will not match.
Brass and bronze
Solid brass throughout, hand finished. Aged brass, polished brass lacquered, satin antique, and silicon bronze on selected Luxe pieces.
Brass and bronze are different metals, not different colours, and they age differently. If a project mixes them, see them together before committing. Finish availability varies by collection.
Two things to plan for
Lead times are the longest of anything we carry, because it is made to order in England. This is the most common reason an Armac Martin specification causes trouble, and the fix is simply to schedule it early. We confirm timing line by line in writing.
Price follows the same logic. This is not the range for a rental refurbishment, and we would rather say so now than at quoting. If the budget is tighter, ask us and we will suggest something that still looks considered.
Bespoke
Armac Martin will manufacture to a specification through their Atelier service. If a project needs a size or a form that does not exist in the catalogue, it is worth asking rather than compromising.
On a project
Send the plans and we schedule it, cabinet by cabinet and door by door, at no charge. Most jobs specify Armac Martin where it will be seen and handled and fill the rest from a range that suits the budget. We will price it both ways if that helps the decision.
Pricing a larger project? Email sales@entry-point.com.au and we will quote the job for you. Send your plans and we will write the full door hardware schedule at no charge.
